ITINERARY IN DETAIL

DAY 1             CHUMPHON - KOH TAO

​

Chumphon Airport – Thung Makham Noi Pier (61.5 km): 1.31 hr Chumphon Train Station – Thung Makham Noi Pier (25.7 km): 41 min

Take the overnight train the night before or fly with Nok Air to Chumphon (supplemental charge).

 

Upon arrival in Chumphon, meet with a guide and driver and receive a private transfer to the pier. From there, hop aboard a catamaran boat and then set sail for Koh Tao.

 

Upon arrival, head to the resort for check in and spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

 

DAY 2-3          KOH TAO

After breakfast at the resort the rest of the day is free at leisure. Lounge the day away on one of the gorgeous beaches on the island, go snorkelling in the translucent waters, do a bit of independent exploration or simply relax in the tropical ambience of the hotel.

 

 

DAY 4             KOH TAO - KOH PHANGAN

Haadtien Beach Resort – Mae Had Pier Koh Tao (1.9 km): 5 min Thongsala Pier – Buri Rasa Village Koh Phangan (18 km): 57 min

After breakfast at the resort, transfer to the pier and take another catamaran cruise to the island of Koh Phangan. (Thrice daily: 9:30 / 15:00 / 18:00). Upon arrival, be transferred to the hotel on Koh Phangan and spend the rest of the day either relaxing or exploring the island.

DAY 5-6          KOH PHANGAN

​

After breakfast at the hotel, the rest of the day is free to spend at leisure. Relax some of the gorgeous white sand beaches, mingle with locals and other visitors to the island, sip cocktails at a charming beachside tiki bar or lounge the day away by the pool.

DAY 7 - KOH PHANGAN - KOH SAMUI

Buri Rasa Village Koh Phangan - Thongsala Pier (18 km): 57 min Mae Nam Pier - Buri Rasa Village Resort & Spa Samui (12.1 km): 28 min

After breakfast at the resort, receive a transfer to the pier and board a speedboat to Koh Samui. Upon arrival on Koh Samui, continue to the hotel for check in. The rest of the day is free to explore the island independently. Be sure to check out some of the great nightlife that the island has to offer after dark.

DAY 8 - KOH SAMUI

​

After breakfast at the hotel, the rest of the day is free to spend at leisure. Relax on a beach or take part in some optional activities.

 

OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Half Day The Local Life Samui

This half day trip provides insight into real Samui island life while exploring the way locals live. Visit the major landmarks of the island, from the famous Big Buddha, the unique Grandmother and Grandfather Rocks, and drive up the panoramic Chaweng Viewpoint to soak up some refreshing sea breeze. Proceed to a local fresh market in the Hua Thanon area and, from here, continue a short walk to Fisherman's Village nearby to observe the local fishing culture.

 

Then, take a look at local rum being made at Magic Alambic Rum Distillery, and sample some of these delicious spirits as well. Another highlight of Samui is a coconut demonstration; watch as monkeys happily help to harvest coconuts from the tops of trees and then enjoy some of the fruits of their labour. The trip ends at relaxing Retro Café for a cool drink before returning to the hotel.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Full Day Marine Yachting Angthong by the Naga (Join)

Hop on a hand-crafted traditional wooden yacht on a cruise to the Angthong Marine National Park. Consisting of 42 islands, this protected environment creates a safe habitat for many mammals, reptiles and birds. Located between the mainland and the islands of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, the park is most famous for Talay Nai. Once a giant karst cavern, the ceiling collapsed to form a fantastic inland saltwater lake. Take a step back in time while visiting uninhabited islands, spectacular limestone rock formations, abundant wildlife and deserted beaches -a true natural marvel!

Departure: Tuesdays & Fridays only (during high season, Sunday departures are also possible if there is sufficient demand).

Join-in tour, a minimum of 2 persons is required.

Angthong National Marine Park is closed on 01 Nov – 15 Dec because of bad weather conditions.

 

DAY 9             KOH SAMUI DEPARTURE

Buri Rasa Village Resort & Spa – Samui Airport (4.4 km): 11 min

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before meeting with the guide and driver receiving a private transfer to Samui Airport for an onward flight.
